The (Australian Telescope National Facility (ATNF aka CSIRO))[https://www.atnf.csiro.au/] operates a number of radio facilities in Australia, and has begun to develop APIs to enable programmatic submission of observations.
We should collaborate with their developers to learn about the requirements for describing and requesting radio observations and to extend AEONlib to support requests to Australian facilities.
Gemma Anderson of CSIRO has kindly shared some information on some Australian facilities as a starting point:
In addition, the CSIRO team have developed a TOM system called TRACE-T which can already submit radio observing requests. The repo for the system can be found here with documentation.

The Murchison Widefield Array (MWA; not one of the ATNF radio telescopes) supports rapid-response triggering. See: https://mwatelescope.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MP/pages/24972656/Triggering+web+services

The Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) existing API documentation. In light of a recent correlator upgrade (BIGCAT), this may be updated, but the team are interested to receive feedback on their existing API.
An example ATCA JSON schedule file is attached.
