4:3 screens are cropped on some devices

Describe the bug
4:3 screens are cropped on a limited amount of devices.

Expected behavior
4:3 pillarbox.

I have same that trouble on Redmi 13

Yeah some screens are fixed scale in the UT99 code. On some resolutions this results in that behaviour. No idea how to fix this so far.

If possible I recommend adding an option in the settings that will limit the game itself to what resolutions it can run at instead of automatically chosing the screen native you can have the ability to select between a 16:9 or 4:3 ratio resolution. Sure there'll be black bars at the corners of the screen but that is honestly preferable as some screens have beveled edges that almost cut off some options, namely the start game buttons at the top right. Most older mobile games did and other game fan ports pretty much do this. Plus most screens that are used on android based handhelds and the of the time tv sticks and other such devices like the Ouya are usually optimized for 16:9 and 4:3 anyhow.

Native is already the resolution the specific device is able to display.
