I get this error after selecting Auto Sub ReTimer - Start - Open the subtitle

OSError: [WinError 1114] A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. Error loading "E:\...\AutoSubReTimer\main\lib\site-packages\torch\lib\c10.dll" or one of its dependencies.

I ran the nvidia-smi command and it says 'CUDA Version: 13.0' so changed 118 to 130 in the bat-file.
That's correct?

What can I do to fix it?

I could run the Whisper thingy and the results look really promising so really want this to work in full.

Which nvidia do you have? I have rtx 3070 but I use cu118, normally if you go to old versions it certainly works

I also have Cuda version 13.

If you have used it before, it will have created a "main" folder.
Delete this!
Then rewrite the text in the line exactly as follows:

Use this: "https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu130"

Once you have rewritten it and saved the changes, run the .bat file again, which will recreate the folder, but now with the correct Cuda version.

When I change it back to CU118, the above error disappears. However, I get another error, which I think is caused by the same thing I reported earlier. My system uses accented characters. In that case, the "utf-8" variable solved the problem for Whisper. But it seems that it doesn't work here.
Since I mainly reschedule manually, I didn't notice this error.

Using an older version like cu118 will work.

The problem with the accented letters is easily solved, I just don't have the time.

I just need to translate the print lines into English or remove them since are in Italian and contain accented letters.
This way you no longer have to use the utf8 fix.

Try putting these two files in the "Auto Sub ReTimer\Scripts\Whisper" folder. Then remove the utf8 fixes from the .bat file (if you still have them) and let me know if you still have the same problem with "charmap".

It should move everything to the desktop leaving only what you need, check where it moved the files in your case... I doubt it deleted the processed files and the video...
