Description
We are a larger organization with a Jamf Pro server set up with a large number of sites, and while looking at reducing duplication of effort we are thinking about the idea of consolidating App Store apps, for both Computers and Mobile Devices, that are common amongst all of our sites into "global" App Store apps offerings at the Full JSS level.
While I knew Object Info could give me a quick report of both Computer Apps and Mobile Device Apps I found it was missing some info that might make it more useful for orgs in our situation. I have listed below additional fields that would be helpful to include in the report.
Field(s):
- Enabled*
- Site*
- Category
Reason: As mentioned we have a large number of sites so it would be helpful to have this info to know which sites are using which apps, and whether they are active.
Field(s):
- Schedule Jamf Pro to automatically check the App Store for app updates
- Automatically force app updates
- Short Version
Reason: This will help us understand if there are sites that need to be on a specific version
Field(s):
- Bundle Identifier*
- App URL*
Reason: These would be helpful in positively identifying identical apps across all of our sites since Site Admins frequently change the app name when adding to Jamf Pro. Vendors also sometimes radically change the application name.

Reason:
This will help us get an idea how many of our apps are free/paid.

- Distribution Method*
Reason: This will help determine whether sites prefer Self Service or Install Automatically for each app.
I know this is a large list, so if this is something you are willing to implement but can't do it all at once, I have added an asterisk next to those that would be the highest priority.
