Bug: Feature selected ring not persisting on map style change

Description
When a user selects a feature on the map, a visual selection ring is displayed. However, if the map style is changed afterward, the selected ring disappears even though the feature remains selected.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the map view
2. Select any feature on the map
3. Observe the selection ring appears around the feature
4. Change the map style (e.g., switch dark)
5. Observe the selected feature

Expected Result
The selection ring should persist and remain visible after the map style is changed.

Actual Result
The selection ring disappears after changing the map style, even though the feature is still selected.
