Initialization of Memory Graph in unseen environment

I would like to know the way that how the memory graphs in unseen scenes are initialized.

1. Are they empty at the beginning of each episode and updated gradually?
2. Or can the memory graphs be maintained between multiple episodes?
   • and if yes, how to decide the order that episodes are evaluated?
