@AGonzalezNicolas eCLM+ParFlow built with GNU+PSMPI works on my NRW test case. Can you retry on your test case using the eCLM and parflow binaries here? /p/scratch/cslts/shared_data/TSMP2_S2025/JURECADC_eCLM-ParFlow_GNU-PSMPI

EDIT: NRW test also works with eCLM-ParFlow compiled with Intel+PSMPI. Binaries are here: /p/scratch/cslts/shared_data/TSMP2_S2025/JURECADC_eCLM-ParFlow_INTEL-PSMPI/

I did modify all *modelio files to set pio_numiotasks = 128 used by eclm (1 node) for both versions.

UPDATE COMMENT: The error was coming from a misconfiguration on the setup of the case. eclm-parflow(cpu) works for intel_psmpi and gnu_psmpi ✅✅
