Minecraft freezing

When I launch Minecraft, it freezes forever (literally). Windows offers to "repair" the program, but then the cheat disappears. I tried running regular Minecraft, and everything worked. I also discovered by chance that if I run the cheated version offline, it will run, but when I reconnect to the internet and try to join the any server, the game freezes again. Can someone help pls?
