Summary

  • preserve Pierre's worker/WebGL MediaPipe background pipeline as the production replacement path
  • replace the degraded matte/SINet fallback with an explicit user modal for avatar placeholder, uploaded avatar, or unfiltered video
  • signal avatar fallback once through call control state while keeping only live audio tracks on the media stream
  • update SPRINT.md checkboxes for completed BGF background fallback work

Production smoke

Notes

Deploy script hit transient Let's Encrypt maintenance during certbot. Existing kingrt.com certificate is valid; remote secrets were restored and services restarted.
