Is the latest ltfs download version 2.5.1 ?

Is the latest downloadable version conform with the SNIA-LTFS-Format-2-5-1-Standard.pdf ?
I am getting

ltfs -V LTFS version 2.5.0.0 (Prelim). LTFS Format Specification version 2.4.0.
Which indicates otherwise.
If not, what is the difference between this project and the LTFS package I can download from the IBM site?

Nope, currently LTFS 2.5.1 is not fully implemented. That's why master is a preliminary (prelim) version.

The downloadable pre build binaries from IBM are the same as the v2.4.8.1-windows-support branch which adds support for windows and some bugfixes in comparison to master
