Clicking Edit Button leads to generic URL that results in a 404 error

Clicking the edit icon at the top of the page leads to a generic URL of the form:

`https://github.com/USERNAME/REPO/edit/BRANCH/page.Rmd`

I assume this is a simple configuration issue but it means that a user has to find the correct page manually rather than having a direct link to the file.
