Use case (author): Video/audio synchronization with the map display

There are many use cases to synchronize video to map presentation (and maybe audio too, perhaps separately from video), as described in The Web Video Map Tracks Format (WebVMT).

This can of course be achieved by Displaying custom web content describing map features, but perhaps video "geotagging" can be made more accessible to both authors and users with native support in a standardized map viewer.

Required capabilities:

• Pan, zoom, or re-centre a map
• Move the map to display a given location
• Pan and zoom a map so as to completely show the area covered by a given bounding box
• Animate the zooming of the map
• Animate the re-centering of the map
