Mossland Developer Support Program Overview

  • Mossland is actively developing a variety of services as open source to foster ecosystem growth.
  • Originally a blockchain-based metaverse project, Mossland is now evolving into infrastructure for the AI civilization — agentic orchestration, Physical AI, AI media, and transparent on-chain coordination.
  • In order to incentivize developer participation and uphold the quality of open source development, Mossland has introduced the MOC Support Program for developers contributing to its open source projects.
  • Ideas and open source projects submitted through this repository or by email may be reviewed by Mossland DAO and receive MOC grants.

🔑 What is this repository?

This repository is the hub for long-term, DAO-backed open source projects in the Mossland ecosystem.

  • Start with an idea or prototype (e.g., via Hackathon or direct proposal).
  • If the project aligns with Mossland’s roadmap and ecosystem, it can enter this program.
  • The Mossland team then helps prepare DAO (Agora) proposals and manage MOC grants & milestones for selected projects.

💡 Short-term experiments start in Hackathon. Long-term projects graduate here and are proposed to the DAO (Agora) for MOC grants.

Participation Methods for Open Source

Idea Proposals and Service Development Proposals

  • If you have ideas for expanding the Mossland ecosystem, you can directly push your idea (documents, code, or proposal files) to this Support Program repository as a collaborator.
  • Alternatively, you can send your ideas and detailed development plans by email to contact@moss.land.
  • The Mossland team will review the proposals and provide feedback.
  • Developers accepted into the Support Program will be registered as collaborators in the Support Program repository, as well as in the repositories they contribute to for development.
  • For proposals received via repository push or email, the Mossland team may submit them to Mossland DAO via Agora (https://agora.moss.land) and run a DAO vote to decide on MOC grants.

Participating in Mossland Tasks

  • This involves directly announcing tasks for open source development within Mossland and inviting developers to participate.
  • Please refer to the task announcements on the Mossland Task Board for more information.

Rewards

  • Developers who participate in development and idea proposals will receive rewards in MOC, based on the project's progress and their contribution to the ecosystem.
  • The specific range of rewards will be determined through collaboration with the Mossland Foundation during the project's development.
  • Factors taken into account for determining rewards include the development difficulty, the level of contribution to the Mossland ecosystem, and the project's development duration, among others.
  • In addition to these rewards, projects that pass Mossland DAO review may receive separate DAO grants in MOC. The grant amount is determined based on DAO evaluation, including community impact, sustainability, and alignment with Mossland’s long-term roadmap.

DAO Funding Process (for Ideas & Open Source Projects)

  1. Submit an idea or project
    • Push your idea/prototype/proposal files to this repository as a collaborator, or send them by email to contact@moss.land.
  2. Share a development plan
    • Include a brief PRD, roadmap, or development plan in the repository (e.g., under a project folder) or in your email.
  3. Internal review & DAO proposal
    • The Mossland team first reviews feasibility and alignment.
    • When a project is ready, the Mossland team submits it as a proposal to Mossland DAO via Agora (https://agora.moss.land) for community discussion and voting.
  4. Grant decision and distribution
    • If the DAO proposal is approved, the project receives a MOC grant allocated according to the DAO decision and project milestones.
  5. Build in the open
    • Development proceeds in the open source repositories, with transparent progress and regular updates to the community and DAO.

Operating Rules

  • As the Developer Support Program involves a collaborative project with multiple developers, the etiquette of each individual participant is crucial.
  • The basic operating rules are specified in the COMMUNITY_RULE.md file of the repository.

Supported Projects under Mossland Developer Support Program

Mossland's Developer Support Program fosters a broad portfolio of open source projects that expand and enrich the Mossland ecosystem. A recurring principle runs through them all: AI proposes, humans decide.

🏛️ Mossland DAO — Governance Stack

Mossland runs a three-layer governance stack: Passport verifies voter eligibility and keeps a gas-free participation ledger, Algora runs 24/7 AI deliberation that produces recommendations, and Agora casts the binding human vote. “AI recommends, humans decide.”

  • Agora — The decentralized governance app and binding decision layer of Mossland DAO. MOC holders discuss, propose, and vote gasless with a single EIP-712 signature, weighted by their MOC balance at a fixed snapshot block. Launched January 2025.
  • Algora — Multi-agent swarm intelligence for the DAO: an autonomous 24/7 AI debate platform that produces recommendations feeding Agora's human vote, with real-time logic visualization.
  • MossDAO — The DAO's governance model, proposal process, and research materials — the system of record for how Mossland governs itself.

  • Passport — Wallet verification, voter eligibility, and a gas-free participation ledger that feed the governance stack.

🤖 Physical AI & Agentic Systems

Mossland's frontier direction: reality generates the agenda, AI agents reason over it, humans decide, and outcomes are proven on-chain.

  • BRIDGE 2026 — A Physical AI governance OS where reality signals become proposals, agents reach consensus, humans decide, execution happens atomically, and outcomes are proven on-chain (Reality Oracle → Inference Mining → Agentic Consensus → Human Governance → Atomic Actuation → Proof of Outcome).

  • Agentic Orchestrator — An autonomous multi-agent engine where dozens of AI agents debate across three phases (Divergence → Convergence → Planning) to discover, plan, and help build micro Web3 services, with hybrid local/cloud LLM routing and human-in-the-loop promotion.

📡 AI Intelligence & Media

  • Alpha — A Korean crypto × AI vertical media platform: AI-synthesized daily briefs, RAG Q&A, disclosed AI personas with track records, and a 12-tool MCP server (alpha-mcp) for Claude, Cursor, Cline, Continue, and Zed.
  • Mossland Signal — A Human × AI forecasting network that places three signals side by side for each question — the crowd's implied probability, an AI agent's own estimate (with its reasoning and sources), and on-chain smart-money positions — tracking calibration, not popularity.
  • Moss Nexus — An AI governance assistant: a local RAG Discord bot (Ollama + Qdrant) grounded in Mossland's documentation and official disclosures.

  • Mossland NPC — A city of AI residents, each with a sharp personality and a specific superpower — chat, drafting, prediction, and entertainment in one place.
  • StoryVerse — An agentic storytelling platform whose multi-agent pipeline (Parser → Navigator → Storyteller) traverses a Neo4j knowledge graph to reveal hidden connections across film, history, and literature.

🔬 Research & Foundations

  • MosslandAI — A research repository at the intersection of AI and Web3 — spanning DAO governance (summarization, user profiling, multi-document summarization), autonomous agents, sustainable AI, and on-chain finance.

  • MossCoin for Machine — Research toward a cryptocurrency ecosystem for AI and machine-to-machine networks — an early foundation for Mossland's machine-economy direction.
  • MosslandXR — Extended Reality (AR/VR/MR) research, including pose-estimation and humanoid-robot pose studies that extend the work toward robotics and Physical AI.
  • MossCoin AI & NFT Research — Research on AI content provenance and on-chain IP licensing (settled in MOC) — evolved from its original AI-prompt-NFT marketplace concept.

아이디어 제안 및 서비스 개발 제안

  • 개발에 참여한 개발자와 아이디어 제안자에게는 프로젝트의 진행 성과와 생태계 기여 정도에 따라 보상을 MOC로 지급받게 됩니다.
  • 보상의 구체적인 범위는 프로젝트를 개발하며 모스랜드 재단과 정하게 됩니다.
  • 보상은 개발의 난이도, Mossland 생태계 기여 정도, 프로젝트 개발 기간 등에 따라 다르게 결정됩니다.

DAO 지원금 프로세스 (아이디어 및 오픈소스 프로젝트)

  1. 아이디어/프로젝트 제안
    • 이 레포지토리에 아이디어/프로토타입/제안 문서를 push 하거나,
      contact@moss.land 로 제안 내용을 보내주세요.
  2. 개발 계획 공유
    • 간단한 PRD, 로드맵, 개발 계획 등을 레포지토리 내 폴더/문서로 정리하거나, 이메일에 첨부해 주세요.
  3. 내부 검토 및 DAO 제안 상정
    • 모스랜드 팀에서 기술·사업 적합성을 먼저 검토합니다.
    • 준비가 된 프로젝트는 모스랜드 팀이 Agora(https://agora.moss.land)를 통해 DAO 제안으로 상정하고, 커뮤니티 토론 및 투표를 진행합니다.
  4. 지원금 결정 및 지급
    • DAO에서 제안이 승인되면, 프로젝트 특성과 마일스톤에 따라 MOC 지원금이 배정·지급됩니다.
  5. 오픈소스 개발 진행
    • 관련 레포지토리에서 오픈소스로 개발을 진행하며, 진행 상황을 커뮤니티 및 DAO에 투명하게 공유합니다.

운영 규칙

  • 개발자 지원 프로그램은 다수의 개발자가 참여하는 공동 프로젝트인 만큼 참여하는 개개인의 에티켓이 중요합니다.
  • 기본적인 운영 규칙은 레포지토리의 COMMUNITY_RULE.md에 명시했습니다.
