Unable to connect to Enhance API

Hi,
I'm testing the new Enhance API (thank you David Stone!). On adding the API key. API URL and server ID I get the message:

I have tried using the control panel API domain https://domain.com/api as well as the control panel root domain.
Reviewing the API Docs - the Server ID is not required to create an add-on domain, the API POST request for creating an add-on domain is:
/orgs/{org_id}/websites/{website_id}/domains

Would one need to enter org_id and website_id parameters for the integration to work?

Hi @superdav42 - I sent a message and have set up WP credentials. I just realised you most likely also need the serverId, groupId, websiteId, orgId and API keys. Please could you email me an email address and I will send you all of these also.

I've created PR #298 that significantly improves the error handling and debugging for the Enhance API integration.

What this fixes:

The integration now provides much more detailed error messages when the connection test fails, including:

• HTTP status codes (401, 403, 404, 500+) with specific explanations
• Troubleshooting guidance based on the error type
• A checklist of configuration items to verify
• Detailed logging with SUCCESS/ERROR/WARNING prefixes

Next steps:

Once this PR is merged, when you test the connection again, you'll see a much more detailed error message that will tell you exactly what's wrong. For example:

• If it's an authentication issue (401), you'll know the API token is invalid
• If it's a permission issue (403), you'll know the token needs System Administrator role
• If it's a 404, you'll know the Server ID is incorrect
• And so on...

This should make it much easier to diagnose and fix the connection issue you're experiencing!

Hi, I tested the PR. The constants were not automatically uploaded. I manually entered the lines below within wp-config, with respective API token/URL, etc. The integration did say 'activated', but I couldn't create an add-on domain when I tried. Not sure if I was supposed to test the PR like this (relatively new to GitHub)

it should have created the constants for you like the other integrations do. Some hosts prevent plugins form making these changes so maybe that is what's happening. Was there any errors in the error log or relevant information in the wp-content/uploads/wu-logs ?
