[Bug] Offset of hotbar when sorting

I'm using version 1.12.2 of this mod since I'm playing on Minecraft 1.21.5 Fabric.
As a closed issues already mentioned, there is this bug where the hotbar is offset (by 2 places in my case) so sorting the inventory will move my first 2 items on the hotbar. I don't see anything that I can change in the config file. Is there something I can do or is there the possibility of a bug fix for 1.21.5?

Hey, this is an issue with other mods that add slots to the inventory. Which mods do you have installed?

I have Mouse Tweaks, Trinkets Canary paired with Traveler's Backpack, SimpleGraves that gives back my items when I die and click on the grave and What's That Slot. I have plenty of mods but those in my opinion are the only one that interfere with slots (even tho just trinkets add a slot on my chest and nothing else)
