There is already heteroskadasticity that we can solve in it so we can plot against mileage to do this analysis and solve for it by a logarithmic transformation. We will have introduced non- linearity (hopefully this is easy to see if we change enige size to be expressed in dm rather than dm^3 = l, by just applying a cube root to this value). Normality of the residuals will simply be evident anyway.
