"Writer exited" after doing almost anything

Hi, I am unsure if this project is still active, but I was wondering about a error I had:

I have the RTL8851BE Bluetooth/Wifi combo chip in my computer. Wifi is rfkilled. Switch is ~2ft away from bluetooth card.

Pairs and shows up in Grip/Order, and works for pressing home or a to escape menu, but immediately disconnects and ceases to work after that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The same thing for me, however, I'm on a Raspberry Pi. If you find/found a workaround, let me know, it would be greatly appreciated
