Messages are missing but then appear after changing channels and clumsy scroll when message received, long pause when selecting channel #16
Description
This video shows 3 problems, 1 extremely serious.
At the start of the video, the user is at the top of the message list. Another user sends a message. Then the user who received a message has this long scroll. The scroll was triggered by receiving the message. I think only a user requesting to scroll should trigger a scroll. (What if the user scrolled back to read something and now you're taking it away.)
When the automatic scroll stops, it is missing messages!! (This is a show stopper bug.)
The messages can be retrieved by clicking on a different channel and returning to the original channel. Note how long it takes to display the other channel.
