Remove Gendered Language from surf-cloud

The use of gendered terms such as "Spielende" in the surf-cloud project is unnecessary and creates confusion. The team has agreed that this form of gendering lacks clarity and should be avoided.

• Search the codebase, UI texts, and documentation for instances of gendered terms like "Spielende", "Teilnehmende", etc.

Expected Outcome

All user-facing and internal strings should use gender-neutral and grammatically standard terms. For example:

• "Spieler" or "Spielerin" should be replaced with a role-based neutral term (e.g., "Teilnehmer", "Benutzer", "User").
• Avoid constructed gendered forms that reduce readability or lack semantic clarity.

• Team consensus has been reached to remove such constructs.
• This change will help align language use with clarity and user expectations.

Replacing "Spieler" or "Spielerin" with terms like "Teilnehmer" or "Nutzer" under the assumption that they are gender-neutral is misleading. These words also have gendered forms (Teilnehmerin, Nutzerin) and are not inherently more inclusive.

Just held a conversation with some team members that were included in the meeting:

We agreed on this in a teammeeting regarding this and other server related things. Even Lea (the one that shouldnt feel included using "Spieler") agreed, that this spelling just looks stupid and confusing. As the main part of the team voted for this to be removed, please either remove this and use normal german spelling or translate this to english.

Kinda useless to hold meetings regarding server related things and then be ignored as the majority.

Simply make the project multi language and add en/us and de/de

I wasn’t part of that meeting, so I can’t speak to the full context. But I personally don’t see a problem with gender-inclusive language. It’s not actually harder to read — the idea that it’s confusing often stems from unfamiliarity, not complexity.

Also, just because one person doesn’t feel excluded by non-inclusive language (like “Spieler”) doesn’t mean others don’t. Lea doesn’t represent everyone, and inclusive language is meant to reach those who do feel unseen otherwise. So if there’s a chance that some people feel more acknowledged by using gender-neutral or inclusive terms, why not use them?
