The use of gendered terms such as "Spielende" in the surf-cloud project is unnecessary and creates confusion. The team has agreed that this form of gendering lacks clarity and should be avoided.
Steps to Reproduce (if applicable)
Search the codebase, UI texts, and documentation for instances of gendered terms like "Spielende", "Teilnehmende", etc.
Expected Outcome
All user-facing and internal strings should use gender-neutral and grammatically standard terms. For example:
"Spieler" or "Spielerin" should be replaced with a role-based neutral term (e.g., "Teilnehmer", "Benutzer", "User").
Avoid constructed gendered forms that reduce readability or lack semantic clarity.
Additional Information
Team consensus has been reached to remove such constructs.
This change will help align language use with clarity and user expectations.
