issue when i run twitter_stream.py "index id_unix already exists"

when i run twitter_stream.py i got this mssg

index id_unix already exists

I deleted the following files:
twitter.db
twitter.db-shm
twitter.db-wal

Then I re-built the twitter_stream.py

I'm not sure if its the ideal way to solve the issue however it worked for me.
