Trying to create a QR Code under vb.net for SEPA / GiroCode

Hello,

I am using Visual Studio 2022 and vb.net. I added QRCoder usng NuGet. So far so good. Usigng hte sample provided I quickly managed to create a default QR code.

After this I wanted to use the Girocode format as I need to create a SEPA payment using the follow code:

   Dim GiroCode_Payload As New PayloadGenerator.Girocode(EPC_IBAN, EPC_BIC, EPC_Name, EPC_Amount) 

   ' Attempt to create QR code
   Try
       Dim QRGen As New QRCodeGenerator
       ' Create a QRCodeGenerator object, and then uses it to generate a QR code from a text payload with the error correction level set to Q.
       Dim QRCodeData As QRCodeData = QRGen.CreateQrCode(GiroCode_Payload, QRCodeGenerator.ECCLevel.Q,)
       Dim qrCode As New QRCode(QRCodeData)
       ' Creates a QRCode object from the qrCodeData, and then generates a QR code
       Dim qrCodeImage As Bitmap = qrCode.GetGraphic(20)

Now I get the error message: "BC30311 Value of type 'PayloadGenerator.Girocode' cannot be converted to 'String'. "

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I have found the mistake - needed to change

QRGen.CreateQrCode(GiroCode_Payload, QRCodeGenerator.ECCLevel.Q,) to QRGen.CreateQrCode(GiroCode_Payload)

Then everything was OK
