Chat !commands feature

It would be amazing to have chat commands like !red or !lighton that can be translated as triggers.

thank you very much for the suggestion.

For now, what you want to achieve can be done using the "Emote alert" section - in the text box, you can type in anything, it doesn't necessarily have to be an emote (it could be, for example, the text "!red", and then a signal would be sent every time this is said in chat).

I will try to find some time in the near future, to update and extend this functionality to better represent what you described.

I have updated the project and created a new release here, which, among other, is a rework to the Emotes feature according to your feedback. I would highly appreciate if you could test it and let me know if it works correctly, as well as if it matches your expectations.

Please also note that the app's runtime has been updated - if you are running the framework-dependent version of the application, you will need to install .NET 6 runtimes (as specified in README).

i´ve testet the last night in livestream...

for me it seems the x86 version reacts to chat messages and emotes but not the follow, sub and the main functions... it runs at my mixing netbook.
the 64bit version for me seems react to all, main functions and chat messages... runs at my streaming PC.

I assume you mean the Events History? I will look into that.

For now, it should react when the specified message is inside any chat message - for example if you type ":)" and somebody says "Nice :)", you should receive a signal. However, case matters - "RED" is not the same as "red". Is that not the case? Please let me know.

While generating an access token with TwitchTokenGenerator.com i have seen the options for the token...

• user:read:follows
• channel:read:subscriptions
• channel:manage:raids
• channel:read:redemptions

so i think it will be possible ^^
I know that the redemptions and other are internally coded. I could see that from the log files of my chatbot. Maybe it would be easier if announces are also read? I think these notifications are something, since they are displayed in a particularly prominent way.
but at the moment, the ArduinoTwitchBot doesnt read the redemption messages from chat. not in german: "RonXTCdaBass hat Hyperspace clip erhaltenPsy-Beats
150" and not in english: "[Points] RonXTCdaBass redeemed Hyperspace clip (150)". i tried both.
the german is the response in browser and the english was shown in Chatty. a bit curious, but okay...

Yes, most of the time it works, but e.g. when my StreamlabsChatbot greets a mod who comes in my channel, it doesn't. I used copy & paste to start "Achtung!" entered as a chat message alert, but the Arduino only reacts when I type in manually. For other alerts it also works in a complete text. And YES, upper and lower case letters are unfortunately treated differently. for names it would be really helpful if there was no distinction between upper and lower case... however, it would also be great if you could specify specific words or strings of characters and the bot wouldn't respond immediately on the first word.
