Notification option

Just installed and love the interface improvements over the old BirdnetPi but was curious if adding apprise notifications or some other way to send out notifications is planned.

Hey! thanks. yes, that is in plan since i also got other user asking for the feature. Curious how many urls do you typically need? just sending notification to one place? or multiple placecs?

I typically just send over to home assistant but would take advantage of other options if they exist.

pushed a new version with Apprise support. you can try it by toggle to "Try Experimental Features" in the Settings page. then update to the latest version. let me know how it works for you.

yes, took me a sec to get my url and token right, but I have it working now. thank you so much. ...is it ok to suggest other features? I use birdnet a lot and like this interface much better but to fully switch, I need more control such as what you see in setting under birdnetpi...especially the audio settings and the system controls...I can ssh into my pi but then have to figure out commands and it was a push of a button there. and when we play audio back I used to be able to do high pass and have gain control (this helped greatly with being able to hear or increase gain for hard to hear bird sounds...any chance those are on your plan down the road?

glad it is working. was there anything about the user interface that made it hard to set up? or it is the token part took a while?
I am very much open to feature suggestions. feel free to post new ideas request to issues. it might just took a while for me to get to them or sometimes there would be deciesion about tradeoff and managing complexity. but i will give them some proper thought and implement them where it fits and where we get many demand. for example, we the Apprise feature has been requested several times so I added it ：）
