Python output looks awful (not something to fix now - figure out wtf the bug is)

For some reason Quarto isn't retaining the line breaks in basic Python output, so while we see a nice output in the ipynb locally, the rendered md output looks awful.

I've tried a bunch of different Quatro options (asis,true,false for output; code-wrap etc) and none seem to work.

I'll put in a question by making a tiny demo repo to the Quarto team.
