feat(showcase): add pond-edge (nature)
The fourth piece in the nature category: a pond margin on a raised soil disc, 3.20 x 2.63 m. The bank slopes from turf through a band of wet mud into a shallow basin, and the disc's cut edge shows its soil horizons. The water is its own mesh, a sheet at a declared level of 0.115 m, rippled in low rings from the cattail clump, each stem, the branch and two stones, calm round everything floating, with its rim run 50 mm on under the bank. Opaque, depth-tinted from olive shallows to a near-black middle, with EEVEE-traced reflections. A cattail clump of 34 arching strap leaves and five stems, each threaded through a velvet seed head with a bare spike; nine rush and sixteen turf tufts of V-section blades; five notched lily pads (veins, bronze rim, maroon underside) and two water lilies (sepals, three petal rings, stamen crown); five wet stones on the shoreline, a barked branch running into the water with broken ends, pebbles and fallen leaves. Nine materials: water, bank mud, reed, seed head, lily pad, lily flower, stone, wood, leaf litter. Blender: E:\Blender-Developer-Tools\.scratch\5.2\blender-5.2.1-windows-x64\blender.exe reports "Blender 5.2.1 LTS". 4.5 LTS and 5.1 are left to CI (not run locally). Recomputed budgets (5.2.1): - 37602 tris (band 36900-38300); LOD1 0.5000, LOD2 0.2200 - 9 materials: water 5824, soil 5614, reed 8162, seed head 1400, pad 1390, flower 1440, stone 2046, wood 234, litter 400 faces - UVs in 0..1, overlap 0; AABB 3.2040 x 2.6342 x 1.5071 m (read off the vertices), zmin 0; collider 96 tris (ceiling 120); bake FINISHED; glTF 3140704 B - hygiene all 0, zero coplanar cross-shell pairs (drafts caught petals rooted on one axis, two stems sharing a ring frame, level blade root caps, a leaf parallel to its soil face; fixed by staggering, not bands) - rooted reeds: 39/39 leaves and stems 0.0397-0.0445 m under the mud (band 0.020-0.070) - floating pads: 5, freeboard 0.00149 m (band -0.0005-0.0040), draft 0.00150 m (band 0.0005-0.0040), tilt <= 0.011 deg (cap 3) - water: level 0.11500 m (0.115 +- 0.0015), ripple 0.00439 m (band 0.0015-0.0090) - heads: 5 on 5 distinct stems, <= 0.00008 m off-axis (cap 0.002), spike 0.093-0.136 m (floor 0.06) - enclosed: bank >= 0.01366 m over every rim vertex and midpoint (floor 0.008), 208 rim edges - cover: 598 shells, 0 loose - two default runs print identical measurements Falsifiers (flag -> measured -> exit): - --skip-decimate -> LOD1 ratio 1.0000 -> 9 - --stray-vert -> loose_v 1 -> 15 - --lift-z -> zmin 0.05000 -> 16 - --float-reeds -> lowest vertex -0.0303 to -0.0255 m (above the mud) -> 17 - --sink-pad -> pad 0 freeboard -0.00251, draft 0.00550 -> 18 - --flat-water -> ripple 0.00000 -> 19 - --slip-heads -> heads 0.0079-0.0080 m off-axis -> 20 - --short-water -> bank -0.03736 m over the rim -> 21 - --float-cover -> 108 of 598 shells loose -> 22 Tris (37602) and AABB identical under every falsifier; every other piece-specific budget green in each run. --sink-pad (first 12 mm) and --slip-heads (first 25 mm) were resized to 4 mm / 8 mm because at the larger sizes the part also came loose and tripped the cover budget. Render: render_hero.py wrote hero and preview. Framing fill x 0.688, y 0.872, margins >= 0.056. Asset-quality floors pass (edge90 0.043); a violation remaps to 23. Asset sheet (docs/gallery/asset-sheets/pond-edge.webp): not the least-designed object in the lineup; the hydrant and the wheelbarrow are plainer. Isolated it reads at once as a pond: cattails, rushes, pads, lilies, stones, branch, ripple rings in the water's sheen. The first sheet showed the near-mirror water blowing out white under the bright sweep; roughness 0.08-0.16 and specular 0.32 fixed it. Weak points: the pond parts are small at sheet scale, and the disc's skirt is a plain earth band. Contact sheet: luma 0.2383 against calibration 0.2369-0.2428 (in band). Stage 0.2244 against 0.1919-0.2517 (in band). Saturation 0.1964 against 0.1525-0.2367 (in band; first draft 0.2490, fixed by a paler wedge). Wedge warmth +0.0841 against -0.1440/+0.1052/+0.0921 (in range). Thumbnail legibility good. Also updated: README, CLAUDE.md and ROADMAP counts and entries (cattail reeds struck from the Nature alternates as shipped as pond-edge), the asset_sheet.py SELECT row, catalog.json, plugin.json and the regenerated gallery. build_gallery, check_site_links (105 pages, 0 failures), check_falsifier_targets, check_exit_code_readme, check_engine_id, check_gallery_images and the count check all pass.
