New tab doubles file count

Describe the bug
when swiping to a new tab, the count of folders doubles. Ex. I have 10 folders in storage/emulated/0 and it displays 10 on one tab and 20 on another. a refresh fixes the issue

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. open the app
2. look at the count of folders in storage/emulated/0
3. swipe to a different tab
4. look at the count of folders in storage/emulated/0

Expected behavior
they should be the same, as they are the same path

Changing this to bug as the broken file count is not simply a visual inconvenience, its actually a broken feature.
