What is needed?
Increase the number of files / degrees of delineation for wind ninja grids, currently it is locked at octants. Additional degrees of delineation give the potential to improve accuracy of fine scale wind. Deterministic prediction models are resolving wind direction at 10 degrees so 22.5 could be leaving data on the table.
How will this improve the project or tool?
Potential accuracy bump in areas of moderate terrain.
