I recently updated on my Mac from a 9.xx version up to the most recent on the website; then further updated to the developer version.
One thing to note - I am not sure why (perhaps it was being on such an older version at the time); but the program from both the site and the most recent developer build would crash immediately on start up. I had to search out and sounds like previously what would happen is that the ini file needed to be retitled to bak for yacreaderlibrary. After doing that you could get program to open / re-add library / app would work as before.
Adding thes here as you may want to figure out a way to make that automatic for people so they dont have to go in manually to try and adjust etc.
