Users often need to know the word/character count of a specific section (e.g., assignments, documentation). SnapDock currently only supports full‑document metrics.
Proposed Solution
When text is highlighted, temporarily display selection metrics (words, characters, lines) in the status bar.
Alternatives Considered (optional)
External tools or manual copy‑paste into other editors, which disrupts workflow.
