HeroUI's Table currently supports only a 2-state toggle (asc ↔ desc). In data tables and integrations with headless libraries like TanStack Table, users frequently expect a 3-state cycle: desc → asc → null / default.
Currently, developers must write custom click-tracking boilerplate in onSortChange to detect a 3rd click and restore an unsorted or default state.
Proposed API
1. Tri-State / Allow Neutral Mode
Add allowRemoval or sortMode="tri-state" so onSortChange emits undefined on the 3rd click:
<Table.ColumnallowsSortingid="name"sortMode="tri-state">
Name
</Table.Column>
