Full framework abstraction

This has been on our roadmap from the beginning, but it's time to make it happen for real!

Everything framework specific should be abstracted to remain framework agnostic to the developer.

Lets do our best to accomplish this without considering any specific frameworks. Each framework will have some unique considerations and we'll need to continue to extend this pattern as gracefully as we can as we learn more.
