In practice, command-line access is required to configure the bot properly and complete onboarding, but this path is not consistently available/reliable for users.

Why this matters

When CLI access is blocked or unclear, onboarding breaks and critical setup steps cannot be completed.

Expected

A reliable, documented command-line onboarding/config path (or equivalent fully-working UI flow) for required bot setup.

I agree, setting up and changing config of Openclaw without using onboarding and their cli is a pain!
