When an application is in the foreground, performing a specific gesture—swiping up from the bottom edge partially (enough to initiate the "go home" or "recent apps" animation, but without releasing the finger) and then swiping back down to return to the current application—causes the tool to incorrectly identify the System Launcher (or System Home Screen) as the foreground application.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open any application (App A) and the tool displays its correct package name and class name.
- From the very bottom of the screen, initiate the swipe-up gesture (the gesture used to go home or enter recent apps).
- Stop the gesture midway but do not lift your finger
- Swipe your finger back down to cancel the action and restore App A to its full-screen, foreground state.
- tool displays foreground app as "com.android.launcher"
