Firefox Nightly 149.0a1 API key doesn't want to save in the settings.

Just as the title says, I try to set up the API key but it keeps on "Saving..."
Is it possible to add a save button to the API key settings so that we won't have to rely on the extension to save it?

Same behavior here with Firefox 149.0 on Fedora Workstation 43 using addon Version 1.0.2.

The browser console reports:

Adding

"browser_specific_settings": {

to the manifest.json fixes the storage API issue. Now the token gets saved successfully.

However, there seems to be another issue, as the browser console now reports
