Description
Problem
New York Public Library (API documentation): The New York Public Library (NYPL) is one of the largest public libraries in the world, preserving millions of books, manuscripts, and historical materials. Its API provides open access to digital collections, metadata, and archives. The NYPL API provides access to over one million digitized objects and records, accessible via browser or token authentication, with a limit of 10,000 requests
API information:
- API key / token required – need to sign up and authenticate (via username/password or a token) to use the API.
- Query limits – The API imposes an upper limit of 10,000 requests per day per authentication token.
- Data available through JSON format.
Implementation
- I would be interested in implementing this feature.
