Getting Prompted for Saving Each Time

Within the past day or two I've started getting prompted with the standard save dialog every time I go to save an image, asking where to save and such.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended functionality, but it's new behavior compared to the past few months so I'm creating the issue for it just in case since it is a change and does slow down use compared to before.

Thanks for reporting this. I’m currently busy with some life events, so I won’t be able to
look into this right away, probably not for another couple of weeks.

If anyone wants to investigate and open a PR with a fix/change, I’d be happy to review it when I’m able.

Tacking on an addition to this, as a troubleshooting test I also tried setting a default format and I'm experiencing the same problem as #7 where it doesn't prompt or save anything at all.

And no worries (at least from me), life stuff should always be the priority, take all the time you need :)
