Enchant Duplication Exploit: Enchanting Equipment Stacks

Armor, weapons, and tools that are unstackable in vanilla can be stacked with this mod.

This creates an interesting side-effect where you can place an entire stack of equipment into an enchanting scroll and enchant the entire default stack limit of 5 items for the cost of 1 scroll.

Possible Solutions

If possible: hook or patch the vanilla game functions to...

• Allow the user to only place one item in the scroll's slot (similar to a player equipment slot).

or

• Make it only enchant one item, or N items limited by and consuming the stack of scrolls (which would be neat and allow you to enchant a full stack of 5 items with a full stack of 5 scrolls in one click).

But such fixes may be beyond the scope of this mod and increase its complexity and maintenance cost, in which case I recommend:

• Only apply the stack multiplier to items that cannot be enchanted.
