Description

Add to this documentation the exact formula or algorithm for calculating a path gradient's color at each pixel (point) that lies in the area where the path gradient is filled.

It is hard to glean this algorithm, or predict its behavior, just from reading the documentation. For example, is the gradient color calculated by comparing—

  • the distance from the pixel to the closest boundary point, with
  • the distance from the pixel to the path gradient's "center"?
