Objective

Deliver the final components of the engagement, including the administrative UI, flood control, and documentation.

Deliverables

• Fully functional admin interface for managing flagged/quarantined extensions
• Implementation of download flood control and abuse prevention features
• End-to-end validation of the publishing workflow on production
• Final documentation and a knowledge transfer session

Milestone 3 Update Download Flood Control & Monitoring

We have created PRs for the following work:

• Download Flood Control: Add redis backed download count validator #1644 — Redis-backed download count deduplication and bot filtering to prevent count inflation
• Grafana Download Metrics Dashboard: Create extensions download monitoring dashboard EclipseFdn/open-vsx.org#8425 — New dashboard for monitoring download activity, top extensions, and spike detection
• Secret Detection Improvements: Update secret detection configuration #1645 — Refinements based on production monitoring
• Name Squatting Improvements: Update name squatting #1646 — Refinements based on production monitoring
