Description
When using electerm on an Android tablet, enabling Full Screen mode does not actually make the application fully utilize the available screen space.
There is still a large amount of unused black space around the terminal, while parts of the UI remain visible and take up significant screen space, including:
- The left-side navigation/options panel
- The top toolbar/status area
- Other surrounding UI elements
As a result, the actual terminal area is much smaller than it could be, which is especially noticeable on tablets with large screens.
Expected Behavior
When Full Screen mode is enabled, the terminal should make full use of the available display area, with unnecessary sidebars, toolbars, margins, and other UI elements hidden or minimized.
Ideally, the terminal should extend to the edges of the screen, providing a true immersive full-screen experience.
Actual Behavior
Even in Full Screen mode:
- A large black area remains around the terminal.
- The left-side options/navigation panel is still visible.
- The top UI/status area continues to occupy screen space.
- A significant portion of the tablet's display is therefore unused.
