Hi all! I'm opening this issue to formally notify my intent to step down from the Falco Maintainer role.
It is sad to say, but over the past year, I haven't been able to dedicate the time and attention that this role deserves, so stepping down feels like the right thing to do.
Please feel free to move me to the emeritus approvers section in the relevant OWNERS files. Of course, I'll remain available if you need context on areas I worked on (assuming I can still remember it! 😂), so just ping me.
Thank you
What can I say? It has been a long journey, and I’ve had the privilege of watching the project grow and successfully graduate. This was my very first experience as a maintainer of an open-source project, and it's something I will never forget.
I’ve met amazing people along the way, starting from my team at Sysdig to all the external contributors we collaborated with. I don't think I'll ever forget the days spent debugging issues together, especially on my beloved eBPF and kernel module drivers (looking at you, @FedeDP ! 😉).
A special thanks goes to the members of the very first team I started this adventure with @alacuku, @leogr, @FedeDP, @jasondellaluce, @LucaGuerra, @loresuso, @therealbobo, @mrgian . Working alongside all of you has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my open-source journey.
Thank you all for the memories, the lessons, the shared code, and the shared bugs. ❤️
Wishing you all the best. Keep crushing it! 🦅
