"Save as Patch" for merge-commits saves wrong commit

What I expect:

Patch contain the full merge diff.

What I get:

Only the last commit from the "graceful-shutdown" branch is appear in the patch.

Saving a merge commit is not easy:

https://git-scm.com/docs/git-format-patch#_caveats

Note that format-patch will omit merge commits from the output, even if they are part of the requested range. A simple "patch" does not include enough information for the receiving end to reproduce the same merge commit.

Saving a merge commit is not easy

Probably, I don't know how it works. When I click on the specific merge commit in the Tree view, I see all changes for the current branch in the Changes tab. So I expect that saving the patch from the same commit will give me the same changes.
