Repeatedly asked for app update on the same version

Hi -

I am prompted to update Fork several times a day, I click Ok to update, but the version does not get updated, and I am asked again. I have uninstalled Fork and done a fresh install but the behavior persists. Is there a registry value that can be deleted to reset this or something like that?

Probably some file is locked. Try to reboot the computer.

Appreciate the suggestion. This has persisted over multiple reboots. I have actually been seeing this issue for a month or two now... I uninstalled and reinstalled maybe a month ago.

Check %localappdata%\fork\Velopack.log. There must be the details about the update.

IO error: corrupt deflate stream

I've had your case open as a tab for two weeks now, but I haven't been able to find anything similar on the internet and have no idea what the problem could be.

Is it possible that an antivirus program broke the output maybe?
