gws auth setup stalls at step 3 - GCP project #640
Description
I have successfully set up my project in GCP. I run gws auth setup. At step 3, it is meant to show the projects available. It continuously and consistently fails at loading these projects. I am then asked to enter my project ID manually, which I do. After that the whole UI locks up. No response, no feedback. I leave it for ten minutes, having no idea what it is doing until I had to kill -9 the whole process.
OS: Ubuntu 25.10 (in VM)
