[MQTT] put in data of "bat" (individual cell voltages)

Could you add to MQTT the individual cell voltages? (command "bat")
That would be aweseom!
I already get via CAN the SoC etc, all the information that is in the current MQTT topics. The reason I soldered all together is to log via MQTT the individual cell voltages...

I looked the code. In principle it's just doing to get it done.

However: when it encounters a run-time error, does it completely crash the ESP?
@hidaba how did you debug your code? Is there an emulator?

Anyway; for the moment I implemented it using node red. It extracts the information from the webpage and save the data into 18 topics in total: voltage 1 to 15, min, max and max-min over all 15 cells (i.e. delta).

I have just got this up and running and am receiving MQTT data but, like you, was hoping that it would be expanded to include cell data. I have/had 4 US2000, one has just gone back under Warranty with a failed cell. If you no longer have Pylontech I don't suppose you will be investing much more time and effort into this, my knowledge on this is far from good but if you have any tips and can point me in the right direction that would be great. You said you had a look at the coding.

What do you mean with cell data? No, I cannot test it anymore. You would like to parse another webpage, right? Just copy paste the code, and modify the part where it parses the webpage result.

I have just got this up and running and am receiving MQTT data

@halve85 I meant I have got @hidaba 's excellent project up and running on an Arduino D1 Mini, not your exhaustive automation script.

What do you mean with cell data?

Exactly to the level attained by the bat command and referenced in your script.

IMHO I think modifying this repo to publish MQTT data to this level would be a bit of a task, due to the limitations of Pylontech's console commands, and the automations parse route is defo the way to go.

Thanks for your work on this script, I I will give it a go and report back.

No problem. You're missing the package "node-red-contrib-buffer-parser".
I don't know that by heart though... please google it, something like:

Surprisingly, that was easy enough!

I had noticed, before I got that far, that if I used the formatted version (easier to edit) it produced the greyed out version of the flow (as above) with the no-entry sign next to the Tab Title but if I used the unformatted version it loaded clean.

Unfortunately, the clean version gives an debug error with the Process Battery Data node.

This is the line that starts msg.title

The MQTT node was sitting 'Connecting' until I changed the port to 1883.

On Connecting, nothing arrived at the Broker as nothing is coming out of the Process Battery Data Node

No success here, did you encounter any of the problems in my last post? I get nothing out of the Process Battery Data node although the output of Get Battery Data looks OK.

I appreciate @gitisgreat2023 that you no longer have Pylontech, lucky man, and that any running of the script could be difficult but any help with this unexpected token would be marvellous.

Did you @halve85 encounter similar problems getting the script to run?
