[Bug]: Cropped images cause layers to be shifting (regression)

How to reproduce?

Hello,

I still need to find a reproduceable pattern, but it looks like placing layers in cropped images, causes them to shift when the window size changes or the layout.

I am pretty sure this was a solved problem in the past. So my intuition indicates some sort of regression.

Will keep adding info as I get more information and time to test.

This issue might be related to #651, but I’ll need to take a closer look first.
