Markdown + Frontmatter support

It would be interesting to store articles in GIt. In combination with frontmatter it could be used as an alternative to yaml/json? Would it be possible for ingitdb to support markdown files?

I actually am planning use ingitdb in https://github.com/synchestra-io/specscore and for that purpose I'd need to support storage in markdown files.

Do you have any specific use case (e.g. example) in mind?

Our use case would be to maintain an event database. All the events have body that is markdown formatted in the descriptio. Related information (date, etc.) in the frontmatter is used for selection/processing.
