How to set Webterminal up to be able to access different servers with webgateway configured as loadbalancer

Hi,
I have an architecture with just one webserver+webgateway configured as failover+loadbalancer. Behind it there are several IRIS servers connected through ECP...so for example, I have 3 ECP clients and 1 ECP server. All of them have WebTerminal installed.

How should I set this up to be able to use WebTerminal to connect to each ECP instance separately? Do I have to configure a dedicated webserver+webgateway for each IRIS server?

Hi! I'm unaware how ECP webgateway works exactly so my comment can be very vague, but in general it sounds like for each IRIS instance you'd need to set up 3 different entries for the load balancer to know where to route your traffic, i.e. /terminal-1, /terminal-2, /terminal-3.

Yes. I thought the same. I did it. and created 3 different webservers, one for each of my IRIS servers, but it doesn't work. I've tested it also in my own laptop and with 2025.1 doesn't work neither...with 401 - unauthorized error... (which is not true as I'm accesing with superuser and %All)... something is wrong with it. I've seen that is not supported any more and others in DC have reported similar issues... it's a pity that we didn't manage to get a good CLI till now yet. Webterminal was a good try, but I understand that it's not worthy the effort to support it. A pity.

Absolutely worthy, WebTerminal is used by >1000 people worldwide (a stat from at least a few years ago), and currently has 28.1k IPM installs.

The sad truth is that the tool is great, and I'm eager to support it, but it needs a part-time support arrangement (paid, I mean). And I did 3-4 attempts with my former manager from InterSystems to get it – the best response so far was to find a sponsor who'll be interested in this project. Surprisingly, it's not the InterSystems itself! Should I escalate, i.e. on developer community, or by other means?
