Project Status?

Hi, I'm doing a mobile dev project with Svelte and Capacitor, I was excited to see the integration with Ionic at

I read the discussion about the project migration / refactoring at:

and that all makes great sense. But I see there is no activity for six months or so, and it seems the project is not currently in a fully usable state (or have I misunderstood that?). Is this project active, usable etc? Are there any plans?

I'd be open to helping out if this is an active community effort, but not so much if it's a question of reviving a dormant project with no other maintainers.

I have decided not to spend more time on it. I am not using svelte for mobile app development anymore so I am also not eating my own food that way..

@briznad may want to chip in here for his intentions?

The way I see it

• the current core can easily keep up with ionic core updates, but i dont see myself running updates myself anymore

• solving some fundamental issues given svelte's choices on webcomponents is either impossible or a very lengthy job with uncertain outcome

• the suggested refactoring and restructuring (and keeping up with svelte releases) is something I believe requires a person (or group) that is dedicated for the job - including receiving all the kudos and pr

• you can wait for Outsystems to put devs on making an official integration (they acquired Ionic). I dont see that happening very soon

I will take time to update the readme's as indeed we have been stale for a bit and it is good to inform devs what to expect from this project.
