Add macOS menu bar icon

Hi, thanks for this great app.

It would be nice if I could toggle the keyboard lock on/off from the macOS menu bar. It be a lot more convenient to be able to do that instead of opening up a terminal and running the command.

I did find a workaround for toggling it on using FastScripts, but I'd prefer not to need a third-party app if possible (I want to use only opensource software).

Hey, thanks for your feedback! I see why a menu bar toggle might seem convenient, but since the app’s sole purpose is to lock input, adding a persistent menu bar icon doesn’t quite fit, I might say.

I’ll keep this issue open and think about other ways to make toggling easier—no promises on a quick solution, but I’ll see if there’s a good approach to start with.

I'll just share a bit more detail about why this would be handy for me. When my cat jumps on the table and starts to walk towards the keyboard, I want to lock it as fast as possible (ideally using the mouse). By the time I've opened up a terminal and started to run the command, my cat might already be on my keyboard and attempting to send messages to coworkers, delete my code, unmute me, or turn on my video during a call 😂. But I think I'd be able to toggle the keyboard lock from a menu bar icon before any damage was done 🙂 There are couple of other macOS apps that have this built-in, but like I mentioned I want to stick to open-source where possible.

In any case I'll survive without it, no worries if you don't want to implement it or don't have time!

@gsingh93 Scratching my own itch I created HandsOff. It has both a Menu Bar App as well as a simple CLI. Would love to hear feedback if it's useful or not. You can download the Installer from Releases. Thanks!
